Before 4 months, I set a question on the left of person profile of facebook platform. It’s a choice question and the content is that “what is electronic cigarette”. It’s real a very simple question for everyone. Also there are five options had been set (see also the picture). Maybe the scanty 27 votes still could satisfy your eye.The question is aimed at know more about how the normal people thinking about e-cigarette. Here are the data of the result of this question.
1、A commodity which is similar to cigarette 14votes 52%
2、A device to alternative cigarette 3 votes 11%
3、A machine is used for quit smoking 5 votes 18%
4、I don’t know 4 votes 15%
5、A drug that is no-good 1 vote 4%
The survey show that 52% of voters think that e-cigarette is similar to cigarette. That means the majority of people still not know what the electronic cigarette real is. In their eyes maybe the so-called new revolutionary product which is just designed only to instead of traditional cigarette. So the function or effect of the e-cigarette would be the same to the traditional cigarette completely.
In addition, about 11% voters think that e-cigarette can be considered as the cigarette alternative device. Perhaps these people ever did more exercises about what the e-cigarette is. They are much smarter among all of the voters. Only 18% voters think that e-cigarette can help them to get rid of smoking traditional cigarette. Obviously, there are some issues between the 11% people and the 18% people. But they all confirm e-cigarette is useful.
Some voters know less about e-cigarette so they believe that e-cigarette is a kind of “drug”. Some voters know nothing so they choose “I don’t know”. Though there are only 27 persons voted for this question. But we also have figured out the opinion from the potential object or those using people. The problem for the el-cigarette market is that a number of people still have a wrong impress on the e-cigarette.
However, it’s a pleasure thing that there is another choice question have been set now. And the question is: Do you think that e-cigarette is better than traditional cigarette? Let’s wait for the result after some weeks.
